The founder’s own acreage project
Little Farm is the Robertson family’s future home and a clear expression of Salt & Sand’s approach: honest materials, practical planning and close connection to the land. It is presented as an in-progress project, with the build to be documented as it develops.
Designed with the whole site in mind
The residence, garage, pool, entry landscape and pavilion are considered as one acreage composition. Site access, ground conditions, drainage, retaining and landscape work are part of the construction thinking from the beginning.
A layout shaped for acreage living
The concept brings the main residence, generous garaging, pool and garden pavilion together around the way a family will move through the property. Each element has its own purpose, yet the buildings and outdoor areas read as one composition. The wide site allows views, privacy, vehicle access and recreation to be considered together instead of being solved one piece at a time.
A transparent build in progress
Because Little Farm is Michael Robertson’s own family project, it offers a direct look at the thinking behind Salt & Sand’s acreage work. The project will be documented as it moves from site preparation into construction and finishing. That process gives prospective clients a practical view of how decisions about levels, materials, outdoor spaces and long-term use are coordinated throughout a custom build.
